- No Deposit Required: I don’t require a deposit to book your appointment because, to be honest, I prefer to keep things simple and hassle-free.

- Flexible Scheduling: If something comes up and you can’t make your appointment, or if you're running late, just give me a shout! We can easily work something out.

No-Show Policy

However, I need to emphasize the importance of showing up for your appointment. If you do no-show, you’ll unfortunately be placed on my shit list, and there will be a $200 + tax no-show fee if you want to reschedule. Let’s keep that from happening!

After nearly three years of dedication, we’ve finally wrapped up this tattoo cover-up project! Life threw us some curveballs—welcoming a new baby into the world and work interruptions—but we persevered, and the result is worth the wait.

Originally, my client had kanji symbols that, while trendy in their youth, no longer reflected who they are today. This cover-up not only transforms the tattoo but also represents a new chapter in their life.

As with every cover-up, I’ll have them back in for one more touch-up session once it’s fully healed and settled in. For now, she’s had enough of my shenanigans for the day! 💚

After six incredible years, my journey with my amazing business partner and dear friend, Lisa, is taking a new turn.

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the closing of our beloved 6509 Tattoo Studio on Chebucto Road.

🚨 Throwback to this Pittsburgh Steelers tribute tattoo! 🖤💛

I just came across this shot while going through my camera reel, and I realized I haven't shared it yet! The piece features the iconic "terrible towel" settled in just above the elbow, a Steelers helmet right in the middle of the bicep, and a beautiful Pittsburgh skyline at the top.

As you can see, part of the tattoo is fully healed, while the other half is still fresh—hence the redness through the whites! 😅 I'm patiently waiting for the finalized healed photo, and once I have it, you bet I'll share an updated pic!

I just finished a little cover-up for a client who had the word "strength" tattooed, which unfortunately didn't heal well and became blurred over time, with some scar tissue present. To transform and enhance this artwork, we chose a rose design. Flowers are fantastic for cover-ups, and when they hold personal meaning, they elevate the entire piece.

The session took about three hours, but we opted to break it into two appointments. This approach minimizes stress on the skin and ensures optimal results for cover-ups. After the initial session, I noticed some scar tissue in the old tattoo, so we decided to play it safe and cut the appointment short. This way, we can let the new ink heal properly without risking further damage.

Once healed, we’ll schedule a touch-up day to ensure everything is covered beautifully and refine any details. It's always exciting to see how a new design can breathe fresh life into an old tattoo! Can’t wait to share the final results! 🌹💉✨

Taking care of your tattoo after getting it is crucial for ensuring proper healing and maintaining its quality! Following aftercare instructions diligently makes all the difference.

After your session, I always bandage the area, which should stay covered for the first 24 hours. Once you remove the bandage, clean your tattoo gently and allow it to dry. As it dries out, you’ll notice some tightness in the skin; that’s the perfect time to start applying aftercare!

My personal favorite is Hustle Butter, but any unscented, color-free, water-based hand lotion will work just fine. A thin layer is all you need, and it should be dry to the touch in 10-15 minutes—if it’s not, you might be using too much!

Always remember to wash your hands before touching your tattoo, and keep the area clean and dry. Avoid swimming, soaking in baths, pools, or hot tubs during the healing process, as this can introduce bacteria and cause serious issues.

Don’t apply lotion immediately after washing; let the tattoo dry first. Too much lotion can lead to scabbing and color loss, so be mindful! Stay away from Polysporin, Vaseline, or any strongly scented products, as they can irritate the skin.

Most importantly? Just leave your tattoo alone! Overdoing it with aftercare can create more problems than it solves. If you have any concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to a professional. Remember, there’s no such thing as a stupid question—just ask when in doubt!

So we decided it was time for an upgrade, so I brought his vision to life with an incredible piece featuring a colorful grim reaper, beautifully framed by vibrant flames.

Completed over a year ago, I’m thrilled to say that the tattoo has healed perfectly, settling beautifully without any need for touch-ups. The colors are vivid, and the details really pop!
